Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

 

The Workflow Coordinator is responsible for the workflow of residual payment processing that includes distributing work assignments, troubleshooting problem batches as well as tracking work assignments and batches through to completion that includes breaking down, processing, posting and Documentum prep.

  • Track and update all batches of residual payments received from receipt to posting of batch for mail
  • Track and update all work assignments for Residual Processing specialist and IMC.
  • Manage electronic file downloading:
    • Adding Information to the staging, CR and scanning logs.
    • Downloading newly received files and notifying all Workflows and Management via email.
  • Printing and processing exception reports.
  • Posting all batches for mail.
  • New performer and corporation set-ups.
  • Troubleshooting problem with batches.
  • Communication with IT, Document Management, studios and payroll houses regarding issues that arise during residual processing including file or payment errors and missing files, checks or payment schedules.
  • Facilitate and track payment processing from Claims, Legal and Residual Analyst.
  • Process correction requests for payments processed in error.
  • Document new and existing procedures as necessary.
  • Training temps or new and tenured team member on new and existing procedures.
  • Other duties or special projects as assigned including those covered under the Residual Processing Specialist and Information Management Coordinator, Residual Processing job descriptions.

  • Demonstrate effective skills in the use of PC applications
  • Must have knowledge of all related tasks of dept.

  • Superlative interpersonal skills: high degree of patience and tact. Must be able to cultivate respectful, strategic and collaborative relationships with people from diverse backgrounds, both internally and externally.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.

  • Ability to lift 30-45lbs

  • Have an understanding and awareness of worker rights impacting SAG-AFTRA members.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Able to prioritize, organize and coordinate multiple tasks under daily deadlines.
  • Capable of taking direction from more than one supervisor.
  • Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined at SAG-AFTRA’s sole discretion.
  • Must be available and willing to work extended hours per day or per week, including weekends as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary to meet its business needs.
  • Must be available and willing to travel to such locations and with such frequency as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience using MS Word

Certificates, licenses, and/or registrations: N/A

 

 

TESTING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic skills: Spelling, math, grammar and filing - passing score: 76%
  • Typing test 35 WPM
  • Microsoft Word and Excel tests (basic, intermediate and advanced) – passing score: 76%
